Tunų knot where there are a number of wind turbines

Tunų seen from the south side
1056
Tunų harbor. It's late in the season, so there are not that many boats in the harbor. The whole island is closing down for the season.
1057
My boat Kon-Tiki anchored up for a few hours
1059
From the harbor, Tunų Hovedgade goes up to the town.
1060
The old dairy which today is a restaurant

In the background is Tunų church tower, which is also a lighthouse.
1063
Tunų church at the back with the church tower which is also a lighthouse. The red building is the town's inn.
1065
At the western end of town is the town's grocery store.
1066
Once the city also had its own smithy, today it stands as a museum.
1067
I have come here west of the city, on my way up to the northern end of the city.
1068
Sheep at the forest edge
1069
The island also offers several ponds, and here live some frogs that are not seen anywhere other than on the island.
1070
One of the many old farms. In the past, many buildings were in very poor condition, this is no longer the case.
1072
Everywhere on the island there are old apple trees. Many of them are quite sour, almost like wild apples.
1073
Then I'm taken to the dairy to eat a shooting star and get myself a beer.
1074
Before the trip goes home, it's time to buy some fresh vegetables and potatoes.
1077
North of Tunų harbor is the campsite. It is of course empty at this time of year.
1078
The beach down for the campsite on a September day.
