Yoko resort hotel
About 50 Km west of Kanchanaburi is this resort. It is a resort located down the river Kwai, and it consists of a whole host of different rooms, some resembling "hobbit" houses, others in a European style. There is a swimming pool on site, but also a larger collection of everything that the owner has collected over many years. It is worth a visit if you are on these edges.

From the reception there is a road all the way down to the river. Along this private road you will find a whole lot of houses, but no two are alike

Down by the river you will find these floating hotel rooms. They are all with A / C and quite comfortable. Only noise here is the river which quietly runs down towards Bangkok

The owner's taste for curiosities and old things can not be overlooked. It is on display throughout the area at the reception, both inside and outside.

This room contains a large collection of old cameras, movies, posters and old cinema chairs. It is open so you can get very close.
